A Wedding....

It was a beautiful weekend for a wedding...An outdoor wedding!

seating for guests, under the Big Oak Tree...

The grounds were just so beautiful!....The weather was perfect!
Here are some pics of the Old Manor, where this wedding took place...

original church built in the 1860"s

Fountain outside entrance to Manor

My Camera was not cooperating with me on this evening,
so my pics were limited...
But this place was just wonderful and had a very
elegant feel to it!
During the cocktail hour,I snuck around to take some pics,of the other rooms...
the Manor serves as a Restaurant as well as holding Weddings...Each room was different

We snuck upstairs to see the Bridal Suite, but it was too dark for pics...
The Ballroom where the reception was held was
magical,but also dark,(the lighting)
there were hardwood floors, and 2 very Large chandeliers...
It was a Beautiful Wedding!

Here's to Wishing you a Magical Week!
Until next time~~~...:)virginia

Little Things to be Thankful for....

Do you have a tendency to skip over Thanksgiving?I don't mean the food part or the actual celebrating of Thanksgiving...what I mean is,in the past I have been known to treat Thanksgiving as just a 3 day weekend. It 's great fun to be with family, the food is always outstanding, but my mind was already on Christmas! I would go straight from Halloween to Christmas, not really putting much effort into Thanksgiving....
This year my approach is a little different,I have actually been thinking of all the things I'm thankful for.And those "little things" are actually the most important to me....With this past year being a difficult one with some major hurdles,I have been reflecting on the positive moments and accomplishments,no matter how big or small!
So this month we will try each day to be Thankful for one  thing,no matter how big or small....And Today one of the Big things I'm thankful for ,are ALL the WONDERFUL people I have met and befriended in Blogland...Wishing you All a Thankful Thanksgiving befor we move on to Christmas....:)

Here are some Little Thankful treats that I have created.....Enjoy!

Do You Believe in Ghosts?......

I'm not sure whether or not I do ...But let me tell about a story,no worries,
   it's not gory....
It all started when I went  on vacation,
to a Town where ghosts, orbs, and the unexplained are waitin...
St.Augustine,Florida is one of the oldest cities in the States,
the 1500's are it's earliest dates...
Along with my Mother ,Sister, and Aunt,
we went on an evening ghost tour...
There were NO ghosts not even one orb! We never chanted and
quite frankly, the guide was a bore....
We went back to our room that night,
  Thankful without a fright!
We decided to get an early start the next day,
we planned to visit the cemetery along the way...
When does this story get scary you ask?...Hold your horses,
   I can't type that fast~~~
Okay,it's just the 4 of us standing on the sidewalk outside the cemetery(it is fenced off,so you can't go in). It is one of the oldest cemeteries in the Town,Haunted by the ghosts of Priest, and a Little Boy in the Big tree(I don't remember their stories, the trip was from 3 yrs ago you see)....

It is very peaceful and no one around,as we are waitin,i'm lookin at the ground,
as I look up....what do I see?...An odd mist, at eye level, about 15 ft. in front of me(the other side of the fence, near the Big tree)...At first I thought it might be smoke...But as I turned around ,there was no one else there...NOT smoke. The weather was clear,no fog,no low flying clouds,Not any clouds...My Sis was taking pics, when we asked her what did she see,she looked at us perplexed, and a response of "what do you mean?"...
We dismissed the whole cemetery scene and went on our way, never questioning the strange, unexplained mist...Until,later that day.
when reviewing the pics, we saw this....

All 5 pics were takin in succession....She never saw this mist through her lens.....We were all aghast! Was this a ghost we were seeing at last?.....
We still can't explain what we saw...Photoshop you say? NO WAY! This is a TRUE story, and just like I promised you, it was not gory!
Maybe  a little crazy and possibly insane,But this is truly what we had seen...So on that note,we wish you ALL
             A HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
